As member of Edmonton Chinatown Business Association (Chinatown BIA), Yorkton sent representative to attend an announcement by the Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience, Hon. Eleanor Olszewski, MP – Edmonton Centre that the Federal Government had provided a $650K grant from the Crime Prevention Action Fund (CPAF) to the City of Edmonton. We also took the opportunity to invite the Minister to take a tour of Chinatown and discuss its safety issue.
