Bill Smith, Chairman of Yorkton Equity Group Inc., was one of the five former mayors who spoke at the “Edmonton Then And Now: The Leaders Who Shaped The City” Luncheon Roundtable organized by The Building Owners and Managers Association of Edmonton and North (BOMA). It was held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Ice District.
The forum featured five former mayors sharing their perspectives on Edmonton during their respective terms in office compared to the city today. Their comments were very insightful. The mayors who participated were:
Jan Reimer 1989-1995
Bill Smith 1995-2004
Stephen Mandel 2004-2013
Don Iveson 2013-2021
Amarjeet Sohi 2021-2025
In support of our Chairman, our President & CEO, Ben, led Yorkton’s directors and staffs to attend.
